The customer service at the front desk was amazing. Dr. Reed is so thorough she goes through everything regarding my medical. She is so friendly to talk to and allows you to feel at ease about things.

I appreciated the caring and dedicated patient service that NP Stona provided during my multiple visits. She exemplified the humanity in all of us, each individual patient comes first.
Although she's limited to a set schedule for patients, expect that if your personal situation needs additional attention, she's going to dig deep with her evaluation and diagnosis; it is not a quick fix.
Once you've become familiar with her professionalism, you will appreciate that you may be waiting a little longer than expected, however the service is worth the wait.
I was scheduled for surgery several months ago and NP Stona went above and beyond to ensure that my Cardiologist approved the surgery. She took the time to speak with my OBGYN, collaborated with him, as an advocate for me her patient, her responsibility. Insisting that no one was going to give her patient anesthesia unless all the paperwork and approvals were completed. My life was her priority.
I appreciated her strong ethics and morals; I appreciated that she's a stickler for the rules and regulations. I'm grateful that she has the knowledge and wisdom to protect my life and to safeguard her oath as a NP.
She's detailed and I would laughingly say her records on you are more thorough than the Government's/IRS records. That's also the reason why your visit will take a little longer.
If you are structured like I am, she's a great match. You'll appreciate that she's not going to be dishonorable with your health.
I've always said being a patient sometimes means I have to have patience at times, if I want the quality of service my health and wellbeing deserves. I'm happy with my health advocate, my NP and my life preserver.

I found her quite rude. I came in because I had a cold and a bad back ache from work. My job sent me home early due to my coughing. She's questioning me as to why I didn't go to urgent care. What are they there for. This is my primary. Then I told her I needed a note for work she began to tell me about someone my age she gave a note to for work and he committed a bank robbery. So now your going to profile every black young man. I came in for help and she act as though I was faking. Very insulting! Im in physical pain and she can hear all the cold in my chest. Had i thought it was urgent i would have gone to urgent care. Have move empathy for your patients. I NEVER want to see her again. I will stick with the Doctor Reed who is my doctor and a professional. Most of the staff there is wonderful.

My experience today was very thorough and extremely informative. I learned some things for the very first time.
Dr. Stona represents herself, her craft and that primary care facility intellectually and professionally.
Her care for her patients is obvious. I would highly recommend her. Dr. Stona should be nominated and selected for an award.

This professional treats you like you're her family and has a " tell you like it is" even though you may disagree. I love that about her and she's timely no waiting around like you're in the hair salon

My experience with NP Stona was great she’s very thorough during my care and reinforced the importance in maintaining my diabetic management. I must say the office appearance is not acceptable. The carpet, walls and tiles need a complete cleaning. There’s an odor and stain on the carpet. The wall needs to be painted. It should look like Mineola and one would be happy going into the office.

NP Mary Alaina Burbage is awesome. She listens, answer all my questions, make sure I'm knowledgeable about all my health care needs and when making changes she explains and make sure I fully understand.
