While obtaining the patient's medical history, she found out that the patient had several life-threatening Allergens, some of which had a potential for adverse reactions with some of the medications that she was already taking. She advised the patient to avoid such allergens and prescribed an Epi pen to be used in the event of a life -threatening Allergic reaction. The patient was impressed with the experience that the visit was only for Immigration purposes yet she learnt a lot about her allergens and realized how it impacted her medications and lifestyle in general.
